In accordance with the By-Laws of the Thousand Island Park Landmark Society, the Nominating Committee hereby notifies the TIPLS membership of the Annual Meeting and the Nominating Committee’s proposed slate of Board Members. Nominations from the floor shall also be in order at the Annual Meeting scheduled to be held, June 27th in the Tabernacle at 9:30am. To Re-Elect:
New Names in Nomination: Marguerite ( Peggy ) Cleary Peggy is a graduate of Fairfield Univ. with a JD from George Washington Univ. and worked as a trial attorney in the tax division, United States Department of Justice. After that, time was spent raising 2 daughters in Princeton NJ while being chief cook and cheerleader. Peggy and husband Bob’s interest in TIPark started years ago as “summer guests” and a decision was made that TIP was to be their summer home. They recently purchased a cottage on Ontario Ave. and Peggy feels fortunate to be a part of the Park’s community and would like to assist in maintaining the Park’s unique qualities and historical significance. Gay Blair Gay and husband Doug are residents of Princeton, NJ, and over 20 years cottage owners in TI Park first coming to the Park through their friendship with the Keane family. Gay is a retired advanced math teacher in the Princeton school system. Gay is a person with multiple interests and as history is one, the Landmark Society is a chosen volunteer area. Gay is also involved with the Park library. |
